Ankündigung der Keynote mit Erich Gamma
Wir freuen uns anzukündigen, dass wir Erich Gamma als Keynote Referenten gewinnen konnten. Erich leitet das Team, welches in Zürich-Wollishofen Visual Studio Code entwickelt. In seiner Keynote wird er interessante Einblicke in seine Arbeit vermitteln.
Visual Studio Code ist ein schlanker Code Editor mit ausgewählten Funktionen einer Entwicklungsumgebung, der für Web- und Cloud-Lösungen gebaut wurde. Das Werkzeug ist seit November 2015 in der Beta, ist (und bleibt!) kostenlos, und läuft auf OS X, Linux und Windows. Visual Studio Code ist Open Source und durch die Community erweiterbar.
Am besten unterstützt das Tool Web-Sprachen: CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, Less, Sass, TypeScript und C# – hier gibt es zum Beispiel Refactoring und Intellisense. Es beherrscht aber für 36 Sprachen intelligente Syntax-Markierung.
VS Code hat eine Unterstützung für Git Code Repositories, es eignet sich also auch zum Arbeiten in Entwicklerteams.
TechDays 2016 bietet die einmalige Möglichkeit, Erich live sprechen zu sehen und ihn persönlich kennenzulernen.

Breakout sessions – March 1st, 2016 | 9.00am to 4.30pm
We are proud to announce that Craig Dewar, Senior Director of Product Marketing in the Windows-Division of Microsoft Corporation will talk about Windows 10 made for Enterprises in his keynote session.
Another keynote about Big Data and Cloud-Computing called The future of data and databases will be given by Rafal Lukawiecki, Strategic Consultant and Director at Project Botticelli.
Marc Holitscher, National Technology Officer and member of the management board of Microsoft Switzerland will depict in his keynote Trusted Transformation – Hyperscale how the Microsoft’s cloud has been designed around the core topics of security and scalability.
The most current developments regarding The Windows Universal Platform and Technologies in Microsoft Azure will be presented by Ronnie Saurenmann, Principal Technical Evangelist at Microsoft Switzerland, in his keynote by demonstrating these with live examples.
